PLEASE READ THIS IMPORTANCE NOTICE RE: ATTENDANCE AND HOLIDAY REQUESTS:
As from 1 September 2013
1) The Headteacher is no longer able to authorise absence during term time unless there are exceptional circumstances. (holiday is not an exceptional circumstance).
2) Where parents fail to ensure regular attendance at school, a penalty notice can be issued. A penalty notice can also be issued if pupils are taken on holiday during term time. Parents must, from 1 September 2013, pay £60 within 21 days or £120 within 28 days.

Parents should always seek authorisation from the headteacher before taking children out of school. A "Leave of absence application form" should be completed and returned to school.
